Adult/Seniors Inpatient Psychiatry Services

The Inpatient program provides service for males and females over 18 years of age with serious mental illness requiring intensive treatment and 24-hr. monitoring. Multidisciplinary treatment teams consisting of psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, case managers and rehabilitation staff provide outcomes based efficacious treatment.

Treatment programs and services emphasize interventions based upon diagnosis and severity of illness. Patient treatment plans are based upon the patient's assessed needs.

The goal of treatment is rapid stabilization and management of the symptoms necessitating 24-hr. monitoring. In achieving this goal, the patient will be progressing to a higher level of functioning thus requiring a lower level of treatment intervention.

The Adult/Seniors Inpatient Service strives to maintain a close working relationship with all community providers in order to facilitate the transition to outpatient services. A coordinated quality outpatient treatment program is the key to the patient's continued success in the mental health recovery process.

We have specially trained psychiatrists in the area of geriatric medicine to serve the needs of the older adult population.
