Clinical Trials for Children and Adolescents with Bipolar Disorder
treatment of Early Age Mania (TEAM)

Is your Child:

q      Having difficulty in school?  

q      Impulsive?

q      Extremely irritable?                       

q      Not sleeping well?

q      Aggressive or violent?         

q      Moody?

q      Not able to think clearly?              

q      Talking too much?

q      Thinking too quickly

If you've answered "yes" to any of the questions above, your child may be suffering from bipolar disorder. UTMB is seeking volunteers ages 6-15 in the Galveston Clear Lake areas who are currently experiencing these symptoms and are interested in participating in a study. Eligible participants receive routine physical exams, psychiatric evaluations and study medication at no cost. Most clinical trials are free of charge and may provide compensation for travel and food expenses. Medical insurance is not required.
